Grace joined GAOS in 2007, aged 15, and enjoys both singing and acting. Currently studying drama at college, her school experience included chorus in My Fair Lady and Billy Elliot and, as a 15 year old, Anita in West Side Story.

Nathan is 11 years old and has lived in Fareham all his life. Nathan is good at dance and his mum remembers his attempts at copying her exercise routines, whenever he heard music, from as early as 16 months old. He was also told by his ‘music for toddler’ teacher that he had brilliant rhythm at two and a half years old and continued to enjoy music of all genres.

Simon has been in many shows since he first started performing in the North East of England when he was still a teenager. He joined GAOS in 1990 and has been in the majority of shows since then as the mainstay of the tenor line. However, he has not taken many leading roles, partly due pressure of work and partly because he likes the chorus songs.

James has been with GAOS for 28 years and his most recent leading role was that of Mr. Bascombe in Carousel. In our 2000 production of Oliver he played the part of Mr Brownlow but for this show has changed his ‘career’ to the medical profession to that of a doctor! James is the business manager/fundraiser on the GAOS committee

William started singing as a young schoolboy, taking part and winning prizes in local music festivals and talent shows. More recently, in 1998 he reached the final 12 in the Pontins Annual talent show. A founder member of GAOS with his wife, Celia, he has taken numerous parts over the years, appearing in over 100 productions.

This is Rich's first appearance with GAOS and a return to the world of musicals. Over the years Rich has appeared in a variety of productions from Shakespeare to Gilbert and Sullivan and more recently with the Bursledon Players in Loot and A Fish Out of Water, for which he won a Curtain Call award for Best Comedy Actor.

Elaine has been singing and performing since a child, at school, in church and with a musical society, but thought her ‘on stage’ days were over, after giving up to look after her family.

It seemed only right that, having shared with Bruce the news that he had been recognised with the honour of receiving the OBE in the New Years Honours list, GAOS should cast him in the role of the somewhat hen-pecked, eccentric Lord Brockhurst.

Alistair first appeared with GAOS in Chaos in April 2007. His interest in music, theatre and the arts was influenced by his Mother’s deep involvement.

This is Esme’s first show as a member of the society and so far is thoroughly enjoying it! Previously she was a member of JuSe, but turned 16 in December and moved up to the seniors. Her most recent role was playing Blousey in Bugsy Malone last October, which was a great experience. Other shows she has been in include Joseph, Oliver! and The Gondoliers.

Julia has been singing ever since she was a young girl, firstly in her school choir and then for her church choir for the last 10 years. She is now 21 and has a very busy life outside GAOS as she is heavily involved in helping to lead a brownie pack as well as performing at many local events as a morris dancer.
